His Splendour in The Grass set closing the Tipi Forrest stage in the early hours of Sunday morning may have been cut short due to circumstances beyond his control, but Sampology still found time yesterday to record the mix live at home for those that missed out!

Grab it here and remember where you (could have) lost it!
Start your engines... The first review is in - and it's great!
InTheMix have not only given Miami Horror's "Illumination" a phenomenal review (calling it rich, ambitious and lasting), they've made it album of the week!
Check out the awesome review here.
We're proud to announce that Sampology will be playing the UK's Big Chill Festival next month, performing a special closing set after Hexstatic on the Solid Steel AV Special on August 7th.
Earlier this year Sampology was one of 6 artists invited to board the Barardi Express with La Roux on an east-coast train tour of Australia, and now he's rounding out the 2nd half of the year as the only Australian artist invited to perform at one of the UK's finest festivals, Big Chill. He's proudly one of a handful of AVDJs joining Hextstatic at his Solid Steel AV night at the 2010 festival.
Say it with us and say it loud: Nein Mann!
The Only have just completed a killer remix for German artists Laserkraft 3D of their killer tune; "Nein Mann". Check it out on their Soundcloud now.
Miami Horror's 'Illumination' album drops August 20th, but in the meantime you can sneak peak some of the tracks on their Facebook Player. Do It Now! And don't forget to pre-order the album from JB Hifi. Who said the internet was dead?
It's been a big year for the Aussies; first with Yolanda Be Cool & D-Cup's 'We Speak No Americano' doing it's bit for world domination and now with Bass Kleph's 'Shakedown' Remix for Fresco Records hitting the #1 Download spot on Beatport this year to date. InTheMix have done a full feature on it, check it out here. Oi Oi Oi!
RipItUp Magazine have made a list celebrating the very best in Australia’s emerging musical talent and called it The Fresh 50. Miami Horror have made the cut at #10.
Check out Kid Kenobi's Juno Chart for July 2010.

We mentioned recently that Kid Kenobi has released his first EP; The Adventures of Kid Kenobi. The artwork is amazing, but that's not where the awesomeness ends with the reviews coming in fast and thick.
With Larry Tee, Bass Kleph, The Aston Shuffle, Wax Motif, MC Flipside and Freq Nasty all giving it props it's Q45 who's saved the best for last calling him "a national treasure".
And we agree.
InTheMix have revealed details on Miami Horror's upcoming album, Illumination, out August 20th. The album, which includes songs featuring Kimbra and Neon Indian features a two CD edition of the album for pre-orders made before August 20th.

A number of readers will no doubt recognise that name, Jesse is better know as Kid Kenobi. Having spent the past two years making beats with his brother as Two Fresh, the siblings cite the years they spent together as teenagers at early 90’s raves, making mock radio shows on a tape deck (remember that?) and DJ Shadow as inspitarion. Listen to their mix via the Fat! Club site featuring the best from both sides of the globe.

Pete Tong has given Bass Kleph's Sidney Sampson remix an airing on his UK BBC Radio 1 show. Check it out below!

Bass Kleph on Pete Tong-BBC1 by Vacation Records

It's been a busy start to 2010 for the boys better known as Trouble A and Trouble B. With a busy calendar and an even more busy studio schedule (including upcoming remixes for Freakshow & Tommy Trash as well as a Triple J guest DJ set) they've come out of the gates strong and ready to deliver their special type of "party" to the world at large.
Across the globe the Hump Day sound has not gone unnoticed with Pete Tong & The Utah Saints dropping their remixes BBC's Radio 1 and the Stanton Warriors, Malente and Tittsworth all becoming followers of the church that Hump built. Locally, The Potbelleez raved from the rooftops about the Humps' reworking of their club anthem "Don't Hold Back' into a sweaty Baltimore bangin' mess and the kids hit the dancefloor to jump and shout.
Not yet experienced them for yourself? Then keep your eyes peeled for national dates as the boys regularly zig-zag the country bringing bag loads of trouble where ever they stop off.

Back by popular demand; tough, edgy & intense electronic is the order of the day as Ministry of Sound brings you ELECTRO HOUSE SESSIONS 3, served up to you by upcoming local stars The Only (alongside dj/ producer Klaas).

2010 is already shaping up to be another big year for Bass Kleph. As he prepares to hit the road with Good Vibrations Festival this February, we're now pleased to announce that he'll be mixing the upcoming 'The Underground 2010' CD, alongside Afrojack for Ministry of Sound.

This is Bass Kleph's second foray into mixing duties with Ministry of Sound, his first was the platinum selling 'Clubbers Guide to 2009' compilation alongside Australian favourites The Aston Shuffle and The Stafford Brothers.

While Ministry of Sound have been busily enjoying chart success with a series of front line club compilations including The Annual and Clubbers Guide to 2010, they are equally concerned with showcasing the latest underground tracks and emerging artists; important records from the frontline which represent the next step in the evolution of dance music and this album will bring you the next generation of house tracks from the most important artists fuelling the underground.

It's a 2CD collection of tracks whose impact will be felt well throughout 2010. Available in store & online February 12, 2010, keep your eyes peeled for tour dates to be announced shortly.

Ever wanted to see what goes into the making of a killer video clip? Well come with us as we get a special look behind the scenes on fRew's 'My Heart Stops' video.
Sun, Sea, Sandcastles...

Check out the awesome new video for fRew's 'My Heart Stops' feat Rosie Henshaw and Chris Arnott.
To celebrate the video release & a territory re-release for 'My Heart Stops', fRew's "Wish you Were Here", 2009 mix CD will be packaged as a bonus track alongside Bass Kleph's exclusive remix (which should hit the club charts soon)!

Need we say more?

If there is one guaranteed way to finish your year with a bang, it would be to have one of your remixes personally selected by Pete Tong for his acclaimed Radio One show. Understandably The Hump Day Project were ecstatic to hear that their remix of Chardy's "T-bag" on Neon Records got some heavy play time.

On a more local level, the boys are proud to be turning their very successful monthly party "Big Trouble" at Chinese Laundry into a weekly affair. The bevy of Trouble Makers DJs from the label of the same name will be thrashing the sound they've come to be known for every coming Friday from February.

Now in it's fourth week, Two Fresh's original track "Bhanga!" is still sitting tight at #22 on the ARIA Club Charts. The boys are also currently in the midst of their nationwide tour playing rocking shows in cities everywhere from Sydney and Canberra to Brisbane and Hobart as well as absolutely smashing it on NYD at the Mean Fiddler alongside local favourites such as Ajax and the Bang Gang DJs.

Definitely keep your ears peeled for the highly anticipated release of their new single “Whatcha Hang Round Here For?” in late January. Featuring Vince Harder (P-Money 'Everything') on vocals and D.O.M.E on MC duties it's a tune that's just too fresh.

Everyone is talking about Miami Horror, and with good reason. The band played to a packed out 7000 person tent to bring in the New Year at the renown Falls Festival in Victoria before jetting back to Sydney to play an unforgettable afternoon set at Field Day.

With the second single from the forthcoming album due out shortly, it's a good thing that the guys are used to being busy, with 2010 shaping up to be a massive year where they are already slated to support both Lily Allen and Phoenix on their Australia tours as well as being confirmed for the entire Big Day Out tour across Australia.

Can't wait to see the band play next? Check out this awesome footage of Summerfest '88 at Falls Festival in Lorne, Victoria on NYE.

Saying that 2009 was a big year for The Only would probably still be an understatement.

The boys managed to keep themselves busy by remixing Armand Van Helden and Dizzee Rascal, opening for The Bloody Beetroots and closing after Crookers at Foreshore Festival in Canberra, playing to sold out clubs on their "Only F*cking Rave Party Tour", releasing their debut single "Dancin" on the Hussle/Ministry of Sound label, producing a completely original live performance concept and managing to start the new year with thousands of party goers by playing the main stage at Field Day.

This coming year promises to bring even more with the boys committing themselves to a packed out schedule where by March they would have dropped their much anticipated new single "Top of The Jam" on OneLove Records with remixes by Dim Mak's Autoerotique and DCUP, released their debut mix compilation for Ministry of Sound as well numerous remixes for Micky Slim's Bombsquad Records.

New Years definitely didn't constitute a break for Bass Kleph, with a killer NYE performance at Luna Park's Harbour Party alongside Pendulum, Sinden and Ian Carey and then an equally epic follow up at the Mean Fiddler NYD party alongside UK's Micky Slim.

In addition to this Bass Kleph has been busy in the studio working on numerous original productions and a number of highly anticipated remixes with tracks "Duro" and "Where Do We Go" set to be released on Vacation Records and Sunshine to be released on the renown Hussle/Ministry Australia label. In addition to this a number of unsigned tracks with the likes of Hatiras, Hook N Sling and Nom De Strip will be coming up in the first half of 2010.

Bass Kleph has also been busy finalising remixes of Joan Reyes' track "Shakedown" and "At Night" from DJ Groover ft Jelena Milosev for the international labels Fresco Records (SPA) and Audio Damage Records (UK) and has just completed his mix for Ministry of Sound's 'Underground' CD alongside Afrojacks.

Easily one of the foremost DJ/ Producers in Australia and with further North American and UK/ Europe touring planned for March and April, 2010 is definitely looking like being one of the biggest years yet for Bass Kleph!
